Professional and Legal Assistance:
Barbara Schlifer Clinic offers legal representation, professional counselling and multilingual interpretation to women who have experienced abuse.

Walk-in Counselling Service:
Family Service Toronto offers a FREE single-session counselling session with a trained counsellor or psychotherapist. The counselling session is usually about 50 minutes and is open to all persons 18 years of age and older, who live or work in the GTA. No appointment is necessary and no health card or identification is required. Clients are expected to complete a service agreement form and a questionnaire that enables staff to best meet your needs.

WoodGreen Community Services offers free, immediate counselling on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings to address a wide range of concerns. They are open at 4:30 p.m. with the latest arrival at 6:45 p.m. No appointment or referral is needed. There are no restrictions to access.

“What’s Up” Walk In Mental Health Counselling Immediate mental health counselling for children, youth, young adults and their families, and families with infants. No fee. No appointment. No Health Card. Six locations across Toronto.

Eagle Youth OUTreach individual counselling, homelessness and suicide crisis services for LGBTIQ2S youth up to age 29. Call to schedule an appointment – also operate on a drop in basis.

Crisis Services:
Shelter Safe is an online resource to help women and their children seeking safety from violence and abuse. The clickable map will serve as a fast resource to connect women with the nearest shelter that can offer safety, hope and support.

Assaulted Women’s Helpline free, anonymous and confidential 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis telephone line to all women in the province of Ontario who have experienced any form of abuse

Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape TRCC/MWAR is a grassroots, women-run collective working towards a violence-free world by providing anti-oppressive, feminist peer support to survivors of sexual violence through support, education and activism.

Gerstein Crisis Centre is a 24-hour community based crisis service for adults 16+ in Toronto, who are dealing with a serious mental health issue, concurrent or substance use issue and are currently in crisis.

Free Youth Boxing Program:
MJKO Boxing
 – Mentoring Junior Kids Organization. MJKO provides free non-contact boxing for youth ages 6-18. MJKO has programming available in 5 locations in Toronto.
