Brock University Professor of Kinesiology Cathy van Ingen speaks at an event to announce additional government funding for Shape Your Life, which has worked with more than 1,800 female-identified survivors of violence since its inception in 2007. The program is expanding to Niagara and Edmonton.
The Shape Your Life (SYL) non-contact boxing program is expanding to Niagara and Edmonton thanks to $320,000 in federal funding announced Wednesday, Feb. 12.
